Role: Quantitative Analyst - Environment

Role purpose:

Verisk Maplecroft’s data-driven solutions offer global scope, granular detail and singular insight into the primary environmental, political risk, human rights, and economic issues impacting organisational resilience, sustainable sourcing and the investment landscape.

The Quantitative Analyst - Environment sits within our Analytics function, helping clients and colleagues through the production of data-led, environmental insight. The successful candidate can expect to work on:

  • developing and producing our range of environmental indices – a dataset incorporating 45 global indices encompassing key environmental, climate change and natural hazard topics
  • answering challenging problems for clients in bespoke engagements – typically combining our proprietary datasets with client inputs - through the smart application of quantitative techniques

In addition much of our environmental data is spatial in nature, so experience of working with GIS products will be considered beneficial.

Sales & Marketing

Role: Account Manager – Financials Sectorr
Location: London

Role Purpose

The successful candidate will lead European sales efforts for a newly launched product suite for the financial services sector.  They will drive the sales strategy, developing leads and new business, and work with existing clients to achieve substantial revenue growth by selling products and services to the world’s largest finance companies.

Whilst part of the broader European & Asian sales team, the candidate will work closely with, and be supported by, our New York based financial services sales colleagues to ensure successful attainment of targets and deliver revenue growth from both banking and institutional investor clients. 

The successful applicant needs to be highly results-driven and demonstrate excellent account management skills and new business development experience in relation to the selling of research and consultancy services to the financials sector. The Executive Assistant to Head of Sales and Sales & Marketing Administrator will manage all back and front of office duties, enabling the smooth running of the company and wellbeing of its team. We are seeking an experienced graphic designer with advanced PowerPoint and visualisation skills to join our busy in-house creative services team. Working closely with our Consultancy and Sales & Marketing teams you will be required to produce engaging and often complex presentations for client presentations, pitch documents and internal use on quick turnaround.

We produce multiple presentations and deliverables every week in order to inspire our clients, demonstrate our strategy and communicate our work and offerings to business partners and clients. As our visual calling card, these presentations need to be creative in their execution and of the highest technical quality. The work will involve taking existing slide decks, improving layouts and sourcing imagery to create visually engaging presentations that are consistent with our brand. We also support our teams in improving the look of their internal presentations. You will be required to interpret data and produce graphs, charts and infographics for use in presentations and reports.
