Maplecroft is giving organisations the opportunity to build a bespoke package of country risk briefings from a choice of African nations. Significant discounts are available for volume purchases or for a package of over 5 briefings.

Companies can pick and choose between all African countries to select those most relevant to them. The bespoke packages will be useful for all sectors to analyse and monitor risks throughout the region and for non-governmental organisations operating throughout the continent.

Briefings (3-10 pages) feature detailed summaries of the key risks affecting a country or sector; country scores; stakeholder viewpoints; recent events and forecasts. Analysis includes high level assessments of the governance framework, the regulatory and business environment, political violence, human rights, the environment and climate change, plus an economic overview. Some also contain visually compelling GIS-derived sub-national maps, illustrating the distinct risk issues affecting a location.

Africa briefing package examples:

  • West Africa package – Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia
  • West Africa oil package – Angola, E Guinea, Gabon, Nigeria, Congo
  • Southern Africa package – South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia

Quarterly updates are also available for all countries and provide a snapshot of the key risks and trends.
