Maplecroft releases regional and sector bundles of the Global Risks Index

The Global Risks Index (GRI), which analyses 26 different risk indices for 163 countries, is now available in regional bundles for companies whose supply chains and operations are located in specific locations.

The new bundles include:

Emerging economies (N11 & BRICs) 17
OECD 29

Maplecroft has also created a GRI bundle for the 12 oil producing countries of OPEC.

The GRI provides comparable risk analysis for each country across seven aggregate clusters. These include: macroeconomic risk; security risk; governance risk; resource security; climate change; pandemics and infectious diseases and societal resilience.

The GRI is presented on-line, in country by country scorecards and maps. Each country scorecard provides a summary of key demographic, economic and political information, a global and regional map, as well as scores for each of the 26 indices and the seven aggregate clusters.
